With more than 8 years and 500 episodes of the Rich Roll Podcast under his belt, Rich has developed a strong community of listeners. Twice a week they turn to the podcast, tuning in from all around the world, to listen to engaging conversations with thought leaders in fields like health and wellness, creativity, music and sports. But while his tribe is as strong as ever, Rich is always looking for ways to build a deeper personal connection with his fans.
So in the fall of 2019, Rich held his first ever live podcast event, bringing his community together at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles. The sold-out audience of 1,100 was treated to live music and a performance from the iconic spoken word poet IN-Q before the main event—a riveting discussion on the future of our planet with the environmentalist Paul Hawken. The success of the event, which was also broadcast on Rich's YouTube channel, has inspired plans for several more live podcast recordings across the country.
