Alex Honnold is one of Rivian's very first ambassadors, and the appeal between the two is clear—a shared commitment to celebrating and preserving the outdoors. This film, produced and directed by Ben Moon, examines Alex's passion for the environment from his early days of climbing, and the role that an electric adventure vehicle plays in his lifestyle and values. As we follow Alex and fiancee Sanni on a typically adventurous weekend in Lake Tahoe, the capabilities and features of the R1T vehicle come to light.
The long-form film project served as the centerpiece of a campaign that featured a microsite including climbing route tips from Alex, still imagery and social promotion across a variety of channels.
